Judges Criteria

A1 List Breed Specialist: Persons the Club would support and who have been previously approved by the Kennel Club to award Challenge Certificates in the breed.


A1 Non Breed Specialists: Persons the Club would support and who have been previously approved by the Kennel Club to award Challenge Certificates in the breed. 


A2 Breed Specialist: Persons the Club would support and who, if invited by a Society, would be in principle approved by the kennel Club to award Challenge Certificates in the breed on that occasion.


A2 Non Breed Specialist: Persons the Club would support and who, if invited by a Society, would be in principle approved by the kennel Club to award Challenge Certificates in the breed on that occasion.


A3 Breed Specialist: Persons the Club would support to award Challenge Certificates in the breed but not yet approved by the Kennel Club for inclusion on the A2 list. To have been on the B list for a minimum of 2 years and associated with the breed for a minimum of 7 years. To have judged a minimum of 30 classes of the breed with a minimum of 150 dogs judged, preferably to include a club show or similar. To have attended a Breed Specific Seminar and to have passed the Clubs judging exam. To have reached the Kennel Club requirements for a Championship show judge. To have a minimum of 3 dogs entered in the Kennel Club Stud Book.


A3 Non Breed Specialist: Persons the Club would support to award Challenge Certificates in the breed but not yet approved by the Kennel Club for inclusion on the A2 list. To have been on the B list for a minimum of 2 years and associated with their own breed for a minimum of 7 years. To have judged a minimum of 30 classes of the breed with a minimum of 150 dogs judged, preferably to include a club show or similar. To have attended a Breed Specific Seminar and to have passed the Clubs judging exam. To have awarded CC?s in at least 1 other breed and to have demonstrated success in their own breed.


B Breed Specialist: Persons the club would support to judge the Breed at Open Shows with 4 or more classes scheduled or Championship Shows without Challenge Certificates. To have ideally been associated with the breed for a minimum of 5 years and to have judged a minimum of 12 classes. To have attended a Breed Specific seminar and a Breed Club Show.


B Non Breed Specialist: Persons the club would support to judge the Breed at Open Shows with 4 or more classes scheduled or Championship Shows without Challenge Certificates. To have ideally been associated with their own breed for a minimum of 5 years and to have judged a minimum of 15 classes. To ideally have attended a Chinese Crested Breed Specific seminar and a Chinese Crested Breed Club Show.


C Breed Specialist: Persons the club would support to judge the Breed at Open Shows scheduling 3 or less classes. To have been associated with the Breed as a breeder or exhibitor for a minimum of 2 years. To have attended a breed club show.


C Non Breed Specialist: Persons the club would support to judge the Breed at Open Shows scheduling 3 or less classes. To have demonstrated an interest in Chinese Crested and Toy Dogs in general. To have ideally attended a Chinese Crested Breed Club Show.
