CRITERIA FOR JUDGING LIST
A1 LIST CRITERIA
For persons who have previously been approved by the Kennel Club to award Challenge Certificates in the breed, have completed their first appointment and have the support of the CCDC.
A2 LIST CRITERIA
For persons who fulfil all the requirements for the A3 list and who have been assessed in accordance with KC requirements and accepted by the KC for inclusion on an A2 list and have the support of the CCDC.
A3 LIST CRITERIA
For persons whom the CCDC would support to award Challenge Certificates in the breed but who are not yet approved by the Kennel Club for inclusion on the A2 list.
As a Breed Specialist they should have :
- A minimum of 7 years judging experience in the breed and support of the CCDC
- Have judged a minimum of 30 classes and 100 dogs in this breed
- To have judged the breed at 15 open shows or champ shows without CC’s, with an adequate geographical spread and preferably to have included a breed club show
- To have attended a seminar given by a KC accredited trainer and passed the relevant examination on KC regulations and judging procedures
- To have attended a seminar given by a KC accredited trainer on conformation and movement
- To have attended at least one breed specific seminar run in accordance with the relevant KC code of best practice and passed an examination and/or assessment where applicable
- To have bred and/or owned a minimum of three dogs when they obtained their first entry in the KC Stud Book (save in exceptional circumstances)
- To have stewarded over a minimum period of three years and at 12 shows
- To have been on the B list for a minimum of 2 years
Non- breed specialists should have :
- A minimum of 7 years judging experience in any one breed (to include five
years in this breed) and have the support of the CCDC
- Have judged a minimum of 30 classes and 100 dogs in this breed
- To have judged the breed at 15 open shows or champ shows without CC’s, with an adequate geographical spread and preferably to have included a breed club show
- To have awarded Challenge Certificates in at least one other breed
- To have attended at least one breed specific judging seminar run in accordance with the relevant KC code of best practice ad passed an examination and/or assessment where applicable
- To have bred and/or owned a minimum of three dogs of any breed when they obtained their first entry in the KC Stud Book (save in exceptional circumstances)
- To have stewarded over a minimum period of three years and at 12 shows
- To have been on the B list for a minimum of 2 years
- To have attended a breed club show
B LIST CRITERIA
For persons the CCDC would support to judge the breed at open shows with 4 or more classes or Championship shows without Challenge Certificates
As a breed Specialist they should have :
- A minimum of 5 years experience owning and exhibiting in this breed and the support of the CCDC
- To have judged a minimum of 12 classes at open shows or champ shows without Challenge Certificates
- To have attended at least one breed specific judging seminar
- To have attended a Chinese Crested breed club show
Non-specialists should have:
- A minimum of 5 years judging experience in any one breed and have the support of the CCDC
- To have judged a minimum of 15 classes at open shows or champ shows without Challenge Certificates
- To have attended at least one breed specific judging seminar
C LIST CRITERIA
For aspirant judges who have shown an interest in the breed and who have the support of the CCDC
As a specialist the person will ideally have been a breeder or exhibitor for a minimum of 2 years
As a non-specialist the person must have shown an interest Chinese Crested Dogs and Toy dogs in general
